Our church exists to reach our community with the good news of Jesus Christ. We strive to provide Christ-centered preaching and teaching in all of our services. We also recognize the importance of teaching our children Biblical truth and provide classes and ministries for all ages. We also have a clean, safe nursery that is available during all of our services.

Basketball League 2012

Information for our 2012 basketball season can be accessed via the links below.  We are looking forward to another exciting year.  We were able to purchase new goals last year as well as have a scoreboard donated.  We want to extend a special thank you to Southern High School for their generosity.  For questions regarding the league, please contact Jesse McKendree at 740-949-3508.

Blennerhassett Island Trip

Please Help Out the Wilderness Christian Camp

Most of you will remember that we took our Jr. age kids to the Wilderness Christian Camp in June and had the camp director, Jason Perlak and his staff with us that following Sunday.  I think they were all a tremendous blessing to you.  They are currently part of a contest that would enable them to win 100,000 for their ministry.  You can visit Jason’s website here to cast your vote for him (you can vote once a day from each of your computers or cell phones) and watch their contest video.

Today the Lord placed a thought in my mind of a dear friend I had several years ago.  He is now home with the Lord.  I have many wonderful memories of him, even though he was much older. Most of our time was spent running to the doctor’s appointments, treatments and common errands, but we developed a great friendship.  I remember my friend Dave always saying how good the Lord was and how thankful he was for the Lord’s grace in his life.  As I have thought of my friend Dave today, I have also thought of that wonderful grace that the Lord is so willing to give.  The Bibles says in John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.  What a wonderful truth to know that God not only gives us grace at salvation but continues to pour out that grace to us every day in our lives.  Continue Reading »
